Disney Vacation Club – Is it Worth It?
If you’ve spent any time around they Disney resorts, you’ve probably heard of Disney Vacation Club – also known as DVC. You may have seen the booths around the parks, the advertisements on the resort television, the plug on Disney’s magical express, or the resorts themselves popping up around the property. Let’s face it, DVC is growing and it’s getting bigger every day. The question I’m asking is – Do you really know DVC? Even if you’ve considered joining, do you really understand the benefits and just how much it could benefit you to join? It is a big decision to make, but it could be one that you never regret. The intention of this post is to un-cloud some of the mystery around DVC, help you understand what it is, tell you some of the facts, and help you decide if it’s right for you! I will say I’m a bit biased because I am a member and I think it’s one of the best decisions we ever made; however, I didn’t buy in immediately. This post is all about the almighty magic band. I’m learning day by day with each foray into the parks just how powerful these babies are. It seems that Disney is adding more and more functionality to them all the time. They really are something you NEED to have now when touring the parks to make your vacation as seamless as possible. Trust me, I was the biggest skeptic of them all when they debuted but I’m now on the bandwagon and trying to drive it! Price comparison for Universal Dining Plan
I recently went to Universal Studios using my annual pass and decided to try out their dining plan. This is relatively new and new to me. I had a very positive experience with it and wanted to talk a little about it and compare/contrast it to Disney’s dining plan. Voyage of the Little Mermaid Complete Ride Through
I have a treat for you guys today. Whilst in the Magic Kingdom I filmed the entire Voyage of the Little Mermaid ride. I finally edited it today and placed it on YouTube this afternoon. It is a dark ride, so there are some dark parts of the video, but that’s because of the dark environment. It turned out pretty great, especially for being filmed on my android phone! This is definitely my favorite part of new Fantasyland thus far (since the Mine Train is coming soon!). The Video is after the break!
